How to clean your vertical blind replacement slats

One of the most common questions we get asked is “How do I clean my vertical blind slats?”

We want your blinds to last as long as possible for you, and to continue looking their best. So there’s some very simply steps to follow for them to stay looking fresh.

We often get customers coming to us needing replacements just after they’ve put their blinds in the washing machine. The down side, is that vertical blind slats are not machine washable.

The simplest way to get clean them is to regularly dust them, and when necessary to wipe them down with a damp cloth or baby wipe. This way, you don’t even need to take them down off of the rail, just wipe them down whilst they’re up in the window and tilt and turn them to repeat this on the opposite side.
