How to measure the recess of your window

For most of our blinds, we’ll need to know what type of measurements you’re taking. Most windows sit in a recess, and it’s perfect to fit blinds in as it keeps the window looking tidy with the blind sitting inside rather than hanging out of the window.

If we’re asking you about the recess of the window, we’ll need the inside window measurements. This is from wall to wall, and from the ceiling to sill/floor.

To measure the recess, measure the width and drop in three places along the window to make sure the window is square. You’ll be measuring wall to wall for the width, and ceiling to sill/floor for the drop. Try and be as accurate as possible with your measurements.

Make sure to give us the smallest measurements for the width and drop you’ve taken. We’ll then make the adjustments for your blind to fit into your window.
